Brentwood Music

     The National Anthem Project was started in 2005 in response to the lack of  knowledge about the history and language of our United States National Anthem. A goal was set forth to teach the words, meaning and history of the National Anthem and the flag to all American grade school students. Brentwood Elementary is a part of the National Anthem Project. Students have been given the opportunity to show their knowledge by singing the Star-Spangled Banner memorized for Mrs. Bennett. If the student is successful they are welcome to choose a prize, their name is posted on a star on the wall in the hallway and on this website. The entire school will sing the Star-Spangled Banner together at the annual Veteran's Day Progam.
